Application for citizenship of Slovenia can be submitted at the Administrative unit in Slovenia. When you submit the application, you have to pay also administrative tax.

- foreigners that have been having temporary residence permit for the period of at least 24 months, without a gap in the prolongation and their family members who have temporary residence permit in Slovenia based on the family reunification
- family members of a citizen of EU or European Economic Zone and they live in Slovenia based on the temporary residence permit
